* In early 90s business started in Venezuela, Colombia as an idea of the ophthalmic surgeon to produce the affordable but high quality instruments for ophthalmic surgery.
* In 1994 RUMEX International Co was founded in Florida, USA. Since mid-90s the fast development of reusable instruments assortment started. In 2000s RUMEX product portfolio was expanded by single-use products and its manufacturing started in the UK.
* The distribution business, begun at the end of 90s, continued its fast expanding worldwide, joining to partnership more and more companies, specialized in ophthalmic surgery. To simplify the logistics process outside Americas the warehouse and sales partnership facilities in Europe were organized.

* RUMEX products are sold directly or through distributors in over than 100 countries.
* Our price remains affordable despite global economic changes and is usually around 25% less expensive than major of well-known brands.
* We still strongly keep the high quality of products and regularly approve it by tests and international certificates.
* We constantly develop the product assortment of reusable items in cooperation with world famous surgeons to correspond all the innovations and to meet the market demands in ophthalmic surgery field.
* To make the purchase process more convenient we launched and continue developing the online stores in the US and Europe and several local online stores in cooperation with distributors.
